Appleton® explosionproof, dust- ignitionproof EXB cast iron junction boxes are used to protect personnel against accidental contact with enclosed electrical devices or connections and to protect the enclosed devices or connections against specified external conditions. They also serve as intermediate pulling and splicing points in a conduit system. EXB junction boxes are designed for use in hazardous locations.
