XHHW-2 copper conductors are annealed (soft) copper. Insulation is an abrasion moisture, heat resistant thermoset cross-linked polyethylene. Conductor sizes 8 AWG and larger are marked sunlight resistant. Colors are available and may be subject to economic order quantity.
