Type NM-B sheathed cable features 2 3, or 4 conductor construction with bare ground wire. Copper conductors are annealed soft copper with compressed stranding. Conductor insulation is 90°C-rated polyvinyl chloride with nylon jacket. Cable jacket is color coded for size identification: white-14 AWG, yellow-12 AWG, orange-10 AWG, black-8 and 6 AWG.
