- O-Z/Gedney AXDX expansion deflection fittings can be used where allowance for expansion and deflection must be provided but the 3/4 in straight line movement in either direction which our Type DX expansion/deflection fitting permits is not sufficient. By combining the Type DX fitting with our Type AX expansion fitting, a straight line movement of 2 in in either direction is provided.
