McDonald® ductile iron body service saddles have a wide range of specified models and are designed for use with cast or ductile iron, PVC and asbestos cement pipe. These saddles offer a trouble-free and efficient way of tapping a water main. They are recommended for use on underground water mains, while optional wide stainless steel bands are recommended for use on PVC. The pressure capabilities equal but do not exceed the working pressure rating of the pipe up to 200 psig.
