We utilize roles on our website to help you do business better. Roles define what information and actions each customer has access to.

Here’s an overview of each role:

Administrator

The Administrator role is highest level of access. This role is assigned to the first person to request access, typically the owner. It could also be a senior buyer who manages other buyers for the organization. The Administrator can setup new users, assign ship-to’s, manage budgets, and view Open Orders and invoices for the organization. This role also includes access to Online BillPay (Billtrust).

Billtrust

Gives access to the Online BillPay portal. Can view, print, and download invoices and statements, and make secure online payments. Can be added to any other role.

Buyer 3

Typically assigned to a senior buyer who has no budget or purchasing restrictions and does not need to have orders approved. Can also serve as an approver.

Buyer 2

Typically assigned to an associate buyer. Can create orders without approval within specified budget restrictions. Orders that exceed budget restrictions require approval. Must have an assigned approver (Buyer3 or Administrator).

Buyer 1

Typically assigned to a junior buyer — Open Orders created must be approved. Must have an assigned approver (Buyer3 or Administrator).

Requisitioner

May only submit requests to purchase products. Must have an assigned approver (Buyer3 or Administrator).
