Square D™ 8501 R relays are suited for use as logic elements and power switching output devices. The short stroke motion of the armature provides long mechanical life required for high speed operation of control systems. Different contact compositions allow these relays to be used in a variety of applications. Fine silver (gold flashed) and bifurcated crossbar (gold overlay silver) are suitable for high contact reliability and low level switching requirements. Hermetically sealed relays can be used in adverse environments.
